On October 18, 2009, Radial Tire Project was Start-up in China National Tire & Rubber Guilin Co., Ltd.

 

The project, with a total investment of RMB 3.1 billions, covering approximately an area of 120 hectares (297 acres), consists of three sub-projects, namely: TBR project, OTR project and PCR project. An annual sales income of RMB 3.2 billions can be expected when it has been completed. The first stage of the project is the TBR project with an annual production capacity of 1.2 million sets of tires. The TBR project will be completed within 24 months per schedule, but it is expected that it will be completed in 18 months.

 

China National Tire & Rubber Guilin Co., Ltd. is the subsidiary of China National Tire & Rubber Corporation (a member of  ChemChina Group Corporation), which, consisting of a rubber research institute and six factories that produce separately giant OTR tires, OTR tires, aircraft tires, TBR, retreaded tires and non- tire rubber products, is the only high-tech enterprise in China which has the ability of  producing a variety of aircraft tires, giant OTR tires, OTR tires, TBR, and special ground vehicle tires.
