Radial Tire Project in Start-up

On October 18, 2009, Radial Tire Project was Start-up in China National Tire & Rubber Guilin Co., Ltd.

The project, with a total investment of RMB 3.1 billions, covering approximately an area of 120 hectares (297 acres), consists of three sub-projects, namely: TBR project, OTR project and PCR project. The first stage of the project is the TBR project with an annual production capacity of 1.2 million sets of tires. The TBR project will be completed within 24 months per schedule, but it is expected that it will be completed in 18 months.
